Aurora Together: A Community Gathering and Information Sharing

Please join us in a unity gathering of our diverse Aurora community! This meeting will bring together community members, organizations and government representatives for conversation and information sharing regarding questions the Aurora community has stemming from our recent elections.

Panelists will provide information and respond to community member questions about immigrant and refugee policy and rights-local and national, school and mental health resources. This gathering will answer questions such as:

  • What are my civil rights and how will they be protected?
  • What should I do if I feel unsafe, threatened or am harassed?
  • What can I do if someone I know needs further support or assistance?

When:
Thursday, December 1, 2016, 5:30-7:30

Media Center at Aurora Central High School, 11700 E. 11th Ave., Aurora, CO 80010

Interpretation (Arabic, Burmese, Nepali, Somali, Spanish, Swahili) and childcare will be provided.
